I saw some parts of Bryan that I didn't know. Thank you for sharing those with us!! Have a lot to say...but only one thing I have to ask!! What is the one with white lines? (5:37-5:43) I really love that one. Lines were alive to me. I'm not sure why,but I feel something strong from that. What do you feel about that piece?
Its interesting that you say something about that piece... It has always spoken to me in a way that the others haven't. I've thought about it a lot and I think it works very well on three levels. The white is strong here (1) this works with the strong black (2) to achieve balance and lastly, I think the marks are situated on the page in a way that allows the viewer to experience the entire piece all at once.
